Things to see and do.

  • Daintree Village

    Where the rainforest meets the reef. The Daintree is one of our favourite places to explore. Located a short drive north of Port Douglas and accessed via ferry. Reef and croc tours are available. Creek swimming and for those 4x4 enthusiast the Daintree marks the start of the Bloomfield track.

  • Great Barrier Reef Tours

    Grab your snorkel and fins! Port Douglas is the doorstep to the Great Barrier Reef. There are many tours out to the reef to get your marine life fix. We would love to organise a trip out the reef with those who are keen.

  • 4 Mile Beach

    Four Mile Beach is a beautiful stretch of coastline in Port Douglas,. The beach spans four miles along the Coral Sea and is known for its crystal-clear waters and beautiful white sand beaches. It’s a popular destination for tourists and locals and for a good reason.

  • Mossman Gorge

    Visit Mossman Gorge and experience the Daintree World Heritage Rainforest with pristine waterfalls, mountains and vivid flora and fauna, all the while getting lost in its enchanting stories and rich Indigenous heritage.

  • Markets

    We know Jessica loves a market and the Port Douglas Market on Sundays and the Mossman Markets, on Saturday are popular attractions. Local farmers sell their well-loved produce, including tropical and exotic fruits, vegetables, and herbs and spices. There’s also cake stalls, hand-made children’s clothing, plants, and arts and crafts.

  • Golf

    Port Douglas is home to many world class golf courses. So grab a beer, buggy and some clubs its time for golfing!

  • Food

    One of our shared passions is eating amazing food. Port Douglas is home to many wonderful restaurants, cafes and boutique food experiences. We would highly recommended the Star of Siam, its a much stop on our trips to Port Douglas.

  • Coffee

    The fuel of life! There are many great coffee options. If you are early birds like us ‘Sparrow Coffee’ is the place for you.
